Battery test:

the plan would be to test the batteries in two steps: first, simulate a
power outage and see how much time our system keeps running, and second
measure the the power consumption of the equipment connected to the UPS
when the detector is at room temperature.

Do you think we can make the test on Monday? let me know.

*Procedure:*

1) Guillermo will be the remote support for the procedure. Synchronize with
Guillermo the start time of the next steps.

2) Unplug UPS from the power line. This starts the warm up process of the
system. Approx. 5 minutes later, the temperature should start going up.

3) 25 minutes after unplugging the UPS, the computer goes off. Unplug it
from the UPS and plug it in another outlet of the container. Turn on the
computer. Inform Guillermo of this situation to restart the monitoring
system. This will keep us taking data.

4)If the batteries are too deteriorated, they might get discharged before
the detector gets the room temperature. We should mitigate that risk being
at the container to reconnect the UPS to the power line when no charge
left, or until the system reaches 2 hours running at room temperature.
Takes 150 minutes to take the detector to room temperature. We might use
the battery status in the front panel of the UPS to check if we are running
safe.

5) Once the UPS runs out of battery we should plug the UPS back to the
power line (Same outlet). Plug the computer again to the UPS.

6) Next day, we can measure power consumption of equipment.

7) Check that all cables are connect back to their the original places.

Any comment or suggestion are welcome.
Best,
Guillermo
