[Opera-CONNIE] Fwd: Pump picture

Hello

we are looking at a pump exactly the same as the one you have in CONNIE.
The only way we can get the turbo pump to spin without turning ON the backing
pump is by disconnecting the AC power to the backing pump.

We can imagine two ways to do this.
1) loose ac plug to the backing pump. See the grey cord in the attached picture, it should have
a latch holding the plug in place.
2) the green I/O switch on the backing. This switch could be hard to see, look at the attached
picture.


Questions:
1) does the turbo pump get to full speed?
2) what is the vacuum gauge measuring?
