[Opera-CONNIE] Status

Hello,

This is an update of the first test on the vacuum pump.

Test: close the valve on the vacuum line that goes to the detector, and try to test the vacuum.
Result: The baking pump didn't start.

Method: For switching on the vacuum pump we followed the procedure indicated in manual "TC110.pdf" pag 25. At this point only the turbo pump started. Alejandro and Pamela heard the high pitch noise, and we corroborate its rotation with the ActualSpd variable of the turbo pump. The baking pump didn't make  any sound sign of being running. We try it a few times, also turning off the turbo pump.

On monday: I checked, in a precarious way, the status of the vacuum pump by hearing the noise in the dlink camera in the container. I thought the baking pump was on.

Alejandro and Pamela are going to send a list with the value of all variables.
We can make a double check with another pump at Fermilab.

Waiting for suggestions. I will try to find something else in the manuals.
